    My family was originally from Clairton,(they moved to Michigan in 1956, and I being the youngest was not born in Clairton.) I was reading the history of all the churches that merged together,recently my sister and I were discussing the ground breaking(St Claire`s) in the 1950`s,and she remembered there was a little token shovel for a rememberance.  (I think she was either 2 0r 3 yrs at the time)  After reading some of the stories on the web page I felt like I was hearing my Mom and Dad speaking of the past,which felt really good(my Mom passed away in 2004,my Dad in 1983)  My family were parishoners of St. Claires and St Joseph`s, and it felt like going home.  Thank you for this wonderful web page and giving a former parishoner`s child a chance to see what her parents saw.

It`s a nice website but it needs photos.  Photos of the interiors and exteriors of the worship sites would be nice.  Also, staff photos would be nice, too.  It`s always nice to put a face to a name.

In searching through the internet I came upon ParishOnline.com, Management Solutions for Church. I was amazed to see the details and information listed in the name of St Clare of Assisi Parish. According to Father Rich this web site is managed by members of the parish. My compliments to everyone who gives of themselves to make this web site possible.
